S3 Art & Design Work – Acorn Centre Inverurie

At the beginning of this year, S3 started an expressive unit of work in connection with the local artist Jane McMillan.  Students work on mixed media pieces based on the theme “Things that are important to me”.  Students not only produced the exciting and imaginative art work but worked with Jane on how to professionally mount their work ready for an exhibition. It was a great experience for the students to work so closely with a practicing artist and also have an insight into the world of Creative Industries. The work is now in the Acorn Centre and will remain on display until 30th July. The exhibition is open to all the public during the Acorn normal opening hours.
