Business Breakfast 2017

On 29 November at Thainstone House, Inverurie Academy hosted the 2017 Business Breakfast.

Nearly 40 people from our local business community came along to meet our Senior pupils and listen to the school’s plan for Developing the Young Workforce.

After a welcome from David McDonald – General manager of Thainstone House, the school unveiled their DYW plans for the next 3 years.

Pupils and business partners then took part in a joint task requiring teamwork, creativity and design skills to demonstrate our commitment to delivering the curriculum in partnership with local business.

Thanks to John the Head Chef at Thainstone for providing quality cakes, ingredients and his help in the task!

Many thanks to all who attended and the school is particularly grateful for the offers of work placements, visits and mentoring that we have received.
